Coventry cuts its remortgage rates

Coventry Building Society has reduced rates on its range of residential remortgage products and launched a unique fixed rate deal, offering unlimited overpayments without penalty.

The new range includes:

A two year fixed rate residential mortgage at 4.99 per cent, £199 fees, available up to 85 per cent LTV.

A two year fixed rate residential mortgage at 3.99 per cent, £999 fees, available up to 65 per cent LTV, offering unlimited overpayments without penalty.

A 3.50 per cent 2 year fixed rate residential mortgage, £999 fees, available up to 65 per cent LTV.

All of the Society's residential range includes one valuation up to £650, as well as a legal package for remortgagors.

Colin Franklin, sales and marketing director at the Coventry and managing director of Godiva Mortgages, said: "Our new range offers real value to borrowers looking to remortgage for a better deal."
